Industrial ExplosivesAEL’s Industrial Explosives operation manages the sale of AEL products and materials to customers that are not directlyinvolved in mining sectors, such as other South African based explosives companies, as well as government departments.
In doing so, this unit manages the sales of the entire range of AEL industrial explosive products, raw and processed materials. The types of product on offer not only include AEL’s broad product range of solutions, but include TNT, PETN, shock tube and other components, ellectronic and traditional detonators and other explosives accessories.
The Industrial Explosives operation also offers advice to customers on the best product for specific applications, and also sources and imports materials through the AEL group's global procurement department for requestedmaterials that are not easily available through local channels.
It is AEL’s personalised, customer-centric approach that has placed it where it is today – a respected provider of reliable, high-quality products that operate in an industry where brand loyalty and trust in the solutions provided are an important selection criterion.
AEL's over 100 years experience in the explosives industry enables the organisation to develop customised products for specific markets that contribute towards productivity and efficiency, while at the same time applying meticulous care to environmental, health, safety and quality issues.
