By: Arthur Tassell In a bid to optimise safety while dramatically improving blasting effiencies in stoping and development operations in narrow reef mining environments, AEL Mining Services has launched an underground bulk emulsion system aimed at conventional mines as a replacement for packaged explosives. For more than two decades, AEL has been providing bulk emulsions to the mining industry using mobile charging units (MCUs) which have effectively addressed the needs of the massive mining environment.
